STEAM Challenge Symposium

What is it?
Hamilton Avenue Scholars in grades K-5 will complete a problem-based learning activity by selecting a topic of interest within a specific STEAM framework. Scholars will research, reflect, create and design, share and present their discoveries at the Symposium using a display method of their choice. Scholars will not only teach about their topic and learning but have the opportunity to learn from their peers as well.

STEAM CHALLENGE FAMILY NIGHT
On January 27th we held a virtual family night! Although the event has passed you can still follow this link for the event's slideshow presentation.

STEAM SYMPOSIUM KICKOFF DAY
We introduced the Symposium with a day full of fun STEAM activities. Some of the activities we did that you could recreate as a family are:
Make a boat out of an apple
Turn milk into plastic
Create a plate marble maze
